Sphendon Hotel Istanbul

Good value hotel, spacious rooms, excellent staff communication. Quality breakfast, short walk to Blue Mosque. Will return when visiting Istanbul again.

I had a wonderful stay at a great little hotel on a quiet street. The location was perfect, just a short walk to popular attractions like the Hippodrome Square, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. The staff at Sphendon Hotel was very accommodating and the breakfast served in the dining room and courtyard was good. The rooms were comfortable and I especially enjoyed the pleasant view from my courtyard-facing room. The hotel also offered reasonably priced laundry service, a bonus. The management even arranged a cab ride to the airport at a much lower rate than other services. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Istanbul.

The best aspects of my stay at this hotel were the friendly staff and the convenient location. The staff was always helpful and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always available to answer any questions or provide assistance. The hotel is also in a key location, close to the city center and major attractions. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the historical places and explore the city without having to travel far. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were well-maintained and the hotel overall was very clean and nicely decorated.

The worst aspect of my stay was the noise levels within the hotel. The walls and doors were quite thin, so I could hear voices, footsteps, and even hairdryers from neighboring rooms.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, close to the main attractions in a historical area. The hotel facilities were great, with a good communal area and decent kitchen facilities. The cleanliness was great, the rooms were large and tastefully decorated.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Niga and Sevda served an extraordinary array of delicious dishes for breakfast. The patio overlooking the courtyard was lovely. The hotel's location was perfect for visiting the main Sultanahmet attractions, just a 5-minute walk away.

Felt like a home away from home, no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood, yet still right down the Sultan Ahmet hill in the center. The rooms are in good condition, with basic amenities like air conditioning and a terrace. The breakfast is a delicious spread with a great view of the citadel wall.

All was more than fine, nothing to complain about here.

The housekeeping could be improved, as some guests experienced their personal clothing being pushed to the side.

The bathroom was quite small and the shower leaked a bit, which was a bit inconvenient.

Great location, accommodating staff, pleasant courtyard, reasonably priced laundry service, discounted airport transportation, comfortable and stylish rooms.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The rooms were in good condition, with the added bonus of a terrace and air conditioning. The breakfast offered a great view of the citadel wall.

The hotel's location was convenient, allowing us easy access to nearby attractions. Despite some minor drawbacks, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay. a wonderful experience.
